Hillary Clinton is Insane.
I have not written anything in quite awhile now, basically because why should I bother? I mean one can only write so much about politics, and politics is what this has become, even though that was not my intention. But when one witnesses an historical election such as that between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama how can one not become the slightest bit obsessed? But I reached a level of burnout that left me lacking the desire to write about anything in particular. Today, though, this has changed for the time being.
Hillary Clinton stating that she is staying in the race because Robert Kennedy was assassinated in June of 1968 is beyond anything she has ever stated. Try as she will to spin and twist her logic we all know what she means. Clinton is saying that she is going to continue to run because, well, one never knows what may happen to Obama. I am sickened that this woman can make such a statement. We have heard her say she represents “real” working class Americans, meaning “white” Americans; we have heard her husband demean Obama’s candidacy as nothing more than a black man winning a southern state; and we have heard Clinton’s stand-ins, such as Geraldine Ferraro spout such nonsense that Obama is winning because he is not white. Christ, we have had to listen to Hillary go on about how a vote against her is akin to trying to stop women from voting. But now to bring up such a horror as political assassination as an excuse for her staying in the race leaves any thinking person speechless.
I truly believe Hillary Clinton has lost it; she is nuts; she is insane and only cares about winning regardless of the welfare of our nation. After all these years of standing up for her I have watched myself over the past few months become something I once despised — a Hillary Clinton hater.
